UK Trade and Investment, Estonian Embassy in London and Enterprise Estonia present Estonian innovative electronics to the UK market on 21 May in London.
Estonia, a member of NATO and the European Union, is a recognised world leader in many e-solutions – electronic identity based authentication and digital signing, e-government, e-tax board, e-voting and e-banking. In 2008 the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defense Centre of Excellence was founded in Estonia engaging in analysis and prevention of cyber attacks, showing a definite trust in the country's ICT sector.
Estonia is also a base for engineering and manufacturing several pioneering electronic devices and embedded systems for industrial application. The Economist Intelligence Unit placed Estonia in its group of "rising stars", convinced that Estonia will develop niches in software development and services to compete successfully on the worldwide scale.
