British-Estonian Society event at the Estonian Embassy: documentary “The Monument” by Tõnu Virve  and Juta Kivimäe.

Creative documentary focuses on a sensitive issue in Estonian cultural and socio-political situation – a public monument by Estonian artists Arnold Alas and Enn Roos created in 1947.

The film brings us more than just this one statue – we can see monuments and statues that have closely been connected with the history of Estonian Republic. Q&A with Juta Kivimäe, screenwriter.
