Heiki Mätlik

Guitar lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. As a soloist and a chamber musician, Mätlik has performed in all of the Baltic states as well as in many other European countries, Australia, USA and Canada.

Heiki Mätlik has recorded over 30 CDs and 7 DVDs, which include complete lute music by JS Bach, music by Astor Piazzolla, Joaquin Rodrigo, Julian Arcas, Estonian composer Kuldar Sink, cello suites by Max Reger.

His recordings has been released for Warner Music Company (USA), Antes (Germany), Harmonia Mundi (USA), and Alba Records (Finland).

He has been a host for Estonian Television’s Guitar Plays (1981-84) and Guitar School (1990-93), as well as for broadcasts from Estonian Radio. He has performed on Russian, Finnish, German and Australian TV and live radio broadcasts.
