The Estonian VGV Trio - Arvo Leibur (violin), Terje Terasmaa (vibrafon) and Heiki Mätlik (guitar) - are a unique group of musicians in Europe because of their musicality, expressiveness and excellence in the performance on Latin and European repertoire. The programme is dedicated to establish musical ties between two continents. The music played by the trio establishes symbolic bridges towards the understanding of the the musical heritage of Estonia, Europe and South America.

J.S. Bach Trio and Astor Piazzolla's Tango Suite is played in an exquisite style with a perfect combination of three instruments.The second part of the evening is dedicated to the music of Estonian composers. It commences with a piece of impulsive character Spring Imaginations op.66 by Raimo Kangro (1949-2000). Their inclusion in the concert encourage us to learn more about Estonia's musical heritage and welcomes a new era in European culture as well as guitar music in the Republic of Estonia.

Estonian VGV Trio are playing together since 1995.
They have performed different concert programs such as Campanella (The music
of N. Paganini), Viva Espana (Sarasate, de Falla, Granados, Albeniz),
Grand Cafe (Brahms, Monte, Popy, Kreisler, Joplin etc.) and Tango King
Astor Piazzolla, Campare a Sera /Evening Music (Bondon, Faure, Satie, etc.).
Three of these programs are recorded on CDs (Viva Espana & Tango King
Astor Piazzolla, Drama). The Tango King Astor Piazzolla won a first price
in classical music category in Competition of labels 2000 of Estonian
Records industry.  Estonina VGV Trio has had concert tours in Norwey, Sweden, Denmark, Holland,  England, France and they have played in the Royal Festival Hall in London and in the Paris Luxemburge Palace. In their programs trio play also contemporary Estonian music (Arvo Pärt, Lepo Sumera, Erkki-Sven Tüür, Ester Mägi, Raimo Kangro, Galina Grigorjeva etc.).

Arvo Leibur  has recorded various CD’s, including the violin works of Eduard Tubin for Bis.  At the time being he works as the concertmaster of the Amsterdam Symphony Orchestra and Estonian State Symphony Orchestra.

Terje Terasmaa has worked as a percussionist in Estonian Symphony Orchestra, pop group In Spe and with the Urmas Lattikas jazz ensemble. She has also performed as a soloist and a chamber musician in Belgium, Germany, France, Italy and Finland.

Heiki Mätlik has made  more that 30 of CD and 7 DVD -recordings include lute music by J.S. Bach. His recordings has been released for  Harmonia Mundi (USA); Warner Music Company, Antes (Germany), Forte (Estonia) & Alba Records (Finland).
